بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
We begin with Allah’s blessed name, we praise him and we glorify him, seek his forgiveness and ask him to guide us. Whoever Allah guides, None can lead astray and whoever he misguides, None can guide. There is no power and no strength except from Allah, The most high, the Most great, the most powerful. We bear witness that there is no one worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers. We pray for peace and blessings on all the noble messengers and in particular on the last of them all “the blessed prophet Mohammad (pbuh)”Astagfirulaah,
Dear brother, the zina or fornication is amongst the biggest sins, and Allah has commanded the believers to stay away from it.
Allah says in the glorious Quran: Do not even go near ‘zina’ (fornication or adultery) for it is a very indecent thing and a very evil way! Quran[17:32]
The commandment in above verse of glorious Quran is meant both for individuals and society as a whole. Not only warns it the individual to stay away from zina, but it also warns the society to maintain such an environment where the individuals are kept safe from this evil and to eradicate any indecency which could lead to the mountainous sin of zina or adultery or fornication.
Dear brother, Allah has forbidden His servants to commit Zina or to approach it or to do anything that may lead to it, and coming near to unlawful sex is a major sin, an evil way, a terrible way to behave.
Allah says in the glorious Quran: The woman and the man guilty of ‘zina’ (fornication), flog each one of them with a hundred stripes, and let not pity for them restrain you in regard to a matter prescribed by Allah; if indeed you believe in Allah and the Last Day! And let a section of the believers witness the punishment inflicted on them. Quran[24:2]
Dear brother, you can understand the severity of the sin of zina from the above punishment that Allah has commanded. The woman and the man guilty of ‘zina’ (fornication), is to be flogged with hundred stripes each.
Dear brother, the first and foremost thing you have to do is to seek sincere repentance from the lord of the worlds, for the mountainous sin of zina.
Allah says in the glorious Quran: (O Prophet) say: “O My servants who have wronged their own souls….Do not despair of Allah’s Mercy! Surely, Allah forgives all sins. He indeed is the All Forgiving, All Merciful. Return to your Lord and submit to Him before the scourge overtakes you; for then you may get no help from anywhere.” Quran[39:53-54]
Dear brother, if you think marriage can expiate the sin of zina, then you are wrong, if anything can expiate the sin of zina, it is the sincere repentance, it is doing sincere taubah in front of allah for the sin you have done in the past.
can we marry?
Dear brother, there is absolutely no harm, if you wish to marry her, provided the marriage is in accordance with the guidance of Islam. And Allah alone knows the best.
I ask Allah to make this a sincere effort, seeking his pleasure, and I ask him to grant us refuge in him from the evils within ourselves, and that in our deeds. I ask him to grant us success in achieving whatever pleases him; And May Allah Shower His blessings and mercy upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), his family and his Companions and on all those who follow him until the final hour.Ask Your Question
