Assalamu alaikum….what is meant by Awal Waqt and Akhir Waqt for a prayer and which amoung them is more appropriate musrahib for offering a prayer? We begin with Allah’s blessed name, we praise him and we glorify him, seek his forgiveness and ask him to guide us. Whoever Allah guides, None can lead astray and whoever he misguides, None can guide. There is no power and no strength except from Allah, The most high, the Most great, the most powerful. We bear witness that there is no one worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers. We pray for peace and blessings on all the noble messengers and in particular on the last of them all “the blessed prophet Mohammad (pbuh)”
Prayer is obligatory upon every sane, adult Muslim. Prayer is one of the most important acts in Islam, and thus it requires a special guidance. Each prayer has its own particular time at which it must be performed.
Allah Says, "Prayer at fixed hours has been enjoined upon the believers" Quran(4: 103).

Dear brother, Ones payer will be considered on time, if one prays ones (farad) obligatory prayer between the two specified periods i.e. between ‘Awal Waqt’ and ‘Akhir Waqt’.
which amoung them is more appropriate musrahib for offering a prayer?
Offering the obligatory prayer in the ‘Awal Waqt’ or earliest time was the preferred Sunnah of our beloved prophet Mohammad (pbuh).
What is the appropriate timing for fajar prayer? ..and in our mosque..people keep almost an hour gap between adaan and prayer in fajar prayer, is this right?
The time of the Morning Prayer (fajar) begins with the true dawn and lasts until sunrise.
Dear brother, It is preferred to pray fajar early in its permissible time. however if one prays the fajar prayer at any time between the first break of dawn and before the sun starts rising, then ones prayer will be considered on-time.
dear brother, there is no harm if people keep one hour break between adhan and prayer, in order to offer salah in the last period i.e before sun starts rising.
And Allah alone knows the best.
I ask Allah to make this a sincere effort, seeking his pleasure, and I ask him to grant us refuge in him from the evils within ourselves, and that in our deeds. I ask him to grant us success in achieving whatever pleases him; And May Allah Shower His blessings and mercy upon our beloved Prophet
Muhammad (pbuh), his family and his Companions and on all those who follow him until the final hour.
