Question & Answer
Is Reciting Quran in sajda allowed?

A/A, As you say in the question link below, that it is allowed to recite duwa in sajda, now if one recites quran or a verse from the quran which is used as duwa, is that allowed? thanks

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

We begin with Allah’s blessed name, we praise him and we glorify him, seek his forgiveness and ask him to guide us. Whoever Allah guides, None can lead astray and whoever he misguides, None can guide. There is no power and no strength except from Allah, The most high, the Most great, the most powerful. We bear witness that there is no one worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers. We pray for peace and blessings on all the noble messengers and in particular on the last of them all “the blessed prophet Mohammad (pbuh)”

Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet (saws) said, "The servant is nearest to his Lord when he is prostrating to Him, so make supplication in this state." Muslim :: Book 4 : Hadith 979

Thus making supplications in the state of sajda is according to the guidance of messenger of Allah (pbuh).

Narrated by Abdullah ibn Abbas The Messenger of Allah (saws) said: "I have been forbidden to recite the Qur'an in the state of 'ruku' (bowing) and 'sajdah' (prostration). So far as Ruku' is concerned, extol in it the Great and Glorious Lord; and while prostrating yourselves be earnest in supplication, for it is fitting that your supplications should be answered." Sahih Muslim[970]

Our beloved prophet Mohammad (pbuh) forbid believers to recite quran in the state of sajda, but if the supplication one recites is/are the verse/verses of QURAN, then there is no harm in reciting it. Reciting verses that are not supplications is prohibited in state of sajda or prostration. And Allah alone knows the best.

I ask Allah to make this a sincere effort, seeking his pleasure, and I ask him to grant us refuge in him from the evils within ourselves, and that in our deeds. I ask him to grant us success in achieving whatever pleases him; And May Allah Shower His blessings and mercy upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), his family and his Companions and on all those who follow him until the final hour.
